TOUCH OF IRELAND

When I first came to SL a long time ago.

After leaving what I can now think of as a rough start, I found myself on an island filled with new friends and peace.

While there my next door neighbor presented this gift to me, and I've held on to it since.



It brings back more sunny a time, a chapter in my life, a new beginning, and acceptance.

My avi may not look the same, but I still love the simple country feeling wearing it.

All I need is a cherry pie!

Armidi & Moody

I've not given up my hair I normally wear, but thought I'd try a little something different. This hair style brought back memories from when I was in High School.

That 70's look.

It's like no one wanted to know me then, and even today I tend to keep a distance of who I really am from people.

That's one thing nice about SL. You can mute the ones that you find out are snakes in the grass. You can be a super model, or like me, you can be just yourself...

Anyways, not everyone can afford Moody's, but I do love the workmanship done on them. And Armidi is in a class by itself.

So this is just me giving a little tribute to a couple new places if you want to explore them...

Uniquely Sari's

Sari's is one of those unique places you have to go and experience.

It isn't one to be described, but if you ever get a chance to go on one of her hunts, or just explore what she sells, the experience is truly special.

Vibrant colors of her world greet you when you land in Jirisan Region.


The Indian flair of her culture dance and frolic through your thoughts.

What can I say, Sari's is just, well, a HAPPY place.

The outfit to my left is from her BALL OF YARN HUNT she had a bit ago. I can hardly wait until her next one!

A hO wEAr Celebration!

What a great way to celebrate today's FREEBIE from ho wEAr! It's called "4th of July".

The outfit comes with two types of pants so you can wear either boots or heels. Under the pants is the skimpiest of Bikini bottoms (enough to make a nun blush).

Over all, a fun outfit! I salute you hO wEAr for giving me a chuckle and a smile.

LeeZu! Surprises & Gifts!

There were some lovely gifts today from LeeZu!

I think this was my favorite. All I needed was a pail and shovel and kick my shoes off down by the beach and dance amongst the waves!

Romance is not Dead....

There is much to be said for fashion.
It is a marriage of sorts.

Where a man might have his dog for companionship.
Women find comfort in feeling beautiful inside and out.

I see beauty from within. I promote creators because of the hard work they do in their time online SL.

GIVE IT AWAY has brought so much more into all our lives. It has created itself its own community.

It is a place I can share a part of myself, and those within can as well. It feeds our romantic nature. It releases our whimsical sides.

Those that know me, know I love deeply. I care about people. Even this blog is a work of my love giving back.

Though we aren't married, we are connected.
Remember you are ALL beautiful and special.

I hope this brightens your day. It has mine.

In Remembrance of 2 Great Designers...

In March 2009 Little Rebel Designs had a "Going out of Business" sale. I filled my inventory with as many of her wonderful garments as possible.

To my left is one of them. Here is to a great creator who had a vision, and though not tons of prims on the garment, the quality was still there.


Below is the same for the tote who the maker Robert Marquez gifted to Freebies Haven.

I found that little treasure LONG ago when I first came to SL. It's called AQUA GUCCI.

Two great artists. You will never be forgotten in MY book!

Frangipani Designs - Myth or Legend?

One hears little whispers about Frangipani Designs...

Have they closed, have they moved?

To be honest, I just don't know the answer to that one. I will say though that I love their Floral Mini Dress you see to the right. It is so summery, and flows nicely when you dance or walk.

So, this is my tribute to Rach & Jonathan Snookums.

DARK ANGEL in the CITY

A little bit ago, I overheard someone trying to find an angel outfit. Now mind you, there are many out there, but this one caught my eye and my humor.

On the lower back is a tattoo, the black wings wear nicely, and there are other bits and pieces to this, but I happened to like this set up myself.


If this is your cup of tea I'd suggest you take a trip over to StarChild Designs and grab one for yourself!

You'll have to do a bit of exploring, but I'm sure you'll find this and other outfits that might peak your interest.

This was a real 'treat' as they not only caught my curiosity, they also caught my sweet tooth!

New Look, New Location, New Name...

But still the same sweet owners! Taz & Leaf are a great team. You will find funny bears upstairs, fun and unique pieces to please any mood you might be in at the moment.

This was my favorite cookie from their gift.
The sale ended at 5pm SL time, but that shouldn't keep you away from going back!

I just adore the people at Prim & Pixel Paradise. What a fun loving creator Mairead Fitzgerald and her sister are!

The outfits always give the role player opportunity to get more out of SL.

Whether or not you're into RP, one has to love the spring look and feel of this outfit!

I had the luck to win this ensemble called "Breezy".

I'm wearing the LIME GREEN. What you don't see is it also comes with leg warmers, but I tend to like to show off my legs, so...

PACADI's GRAND OPENING

I had a really good time at Pacadi's Grand Opening on May 17, 2009.

Pacadi's is found in the Altobello Region.

The clothes, jewelry, belt, and shoes I bought there.

I found them to be affordable prices, unique style of boots, sandals, and shoes.


I love the vintage feel of how it lays upon my frame. The belt is modifiable, don't let the yellow pants confuse you, they actually look lime green when you put them on.

Formally Maeva's, Pacadi Jasha's has a great selection. I'm so glad they didn't up and just close up shop for good!
